CTO Meetial

Meetial is an innovative startup that wants to merge online and offline networking. We are currently in the process of developing our service for our first release and are looking for a enthusiastic CTO to join our team.
Together with our CEO you will set the direction of the company. This will include preparing to obtain outside investments. You will also:
- Lead all engineering
- Be decisive for the architecture of the service
- Be responsible for establishing operating procedures
- Be responsible to make choices in regard to outsourcing
- Hiring new developers
- Mentoring young new developers
- Develop and drive the product roadmap
- Work on the building of the actual product
- Participate in all other aspects of running the business
- Help us build a fun and passionate startup culture
As CTO you will bring the following to the table:
- A number of years experience in web development
- Experience in leading a project team
- Knowledge of the most used languages (PHP/MySQL etc)
- Knowledge of object oriented development
- A passion for developing new products
- You enjoy working with the chaos and uncertainty of a startup
- You propose actions instead of waiting to be instructed
If you would fit our team, you could become our new CTO/Co-Founder. Meetial brings to the table a huge network of international contacts both in the startup culture as well as outside of it. We are not in the position to offer a set salary at the moment, but Meetial has great potential and we expect to be obtaining funding through your input. Compensation for the position will focus on equity at first, with a salary and other compensation in the near future. Final locations for our offices have not been decided upon at this time.
